Little girls love to play dress up and pretend to be all “grown up”. How much fun to have a spa themed party for a little girl’s birthday and they can do just that!

These were made for a special little sweetie who is turning six. The invitation is a nail polish bottle that when you remove the top, reveals the party information inside. It even has a little “brush” to mimic a real nail polish bottle. I normally use a standard envelope for this invitation but since they were being hand delivered – well I had to make a little purse for each to go inside of. And we added each little girl’s name on a tag that hung from the purse. A-DOR-A-BLE!!!

Frozen – in June…

I have a client who has fabulous parties for her kids and comes up with great themes. These invitations and party favors were for her daughter’s very special 5th birthday – a Frozen themed party! Such a great idea for a summer party – to cool things down. Although, when we began the designing and prep for this event, there was still snow on the ground outside of my studio. Boy, how things have changed quickly over the past few months… The invitation was a interactive snow globe – shake the beads inside for snow fun! Flip the invite over and the party information is found on the back. The 3D castle with paper dolls was used as an activity for the young girls to assemble and play with during the party. And of course, everyone needs a snow wand. I made an extra one that I keep on my desk so when my kids get out of hand – a little wave of the wand to “freeze” them.

LOVE IT! (The photos of the table centerpiece and wands were from a party my daughter went to at a friends – I was in the middle of working on this event and gave the hostess the centerpiece and wands for the girls. Even tweens love Frozen)

Once Upon A Time…

I was thrilled when a past client contacted me to create this unique, girly invitation for her daughter’s first birthday. A few inspirational images, some poetry, hours of adjusting color hues, and voila – an invitation fit for a princess. Well I think so anyway…

She’s a Perfect 10!

Ten years ago, my sweet Dani came into this world… a decade of joy is what she has brought to my life. I believe God sent me an angel in the form of a beautiful little girl. Her easy-going personality helps me remember that everything doesn’t have to be planned and the best adventures sometimes aren’t, she teaches me patience with her mild temperament and calmness, she inspires me to dance as she twirls through our home, daily, and she fills my heart with more love than I thought it possible to hold. I look back over these past ten years and am reminded of the milestones; first smile, first laugh, first tooth, first birthday, first steps and the joy all that brought. These next ten years will be filled with many such milestones; first car, first job, and first love. My wish for Danielle is that each of these “firsts” bring her joy and I will be here for her every step of the way!

“ARF-ARF!” Invite your guest to your next event with this puppy holding his bone. He measures approximately 7 ¼” x 7 ¾”. He is made with textured cardstock that has been sanded, crumpled, inked and detailed. His nose is raised for a 3D effect. Lift his head to reveal the invitation information. What a great start to your puppy themed party! (I can add a bow to the puppy’s head to make this work for a female event 😉

Take Flight!

Up! Up! And AWAY!!! This airplane invitation comes complete with twirling propeller and banner. The banner tucks into a pocket inside the plane. It’s Show Time! This invitation is sure to catch the attention of your audience…

This bucket full of popcorn has 3-D paper popcorn that’s been loaded with “butter” details. The invitation information is printed on cardstock that has been topped with popcorn and inserted into the popcorn bucket. Recipients pull the popcorn from the bucket for an interactive experience. All is constructed with heavy weight cardstock. The front and back of the bucket are identical. Popcorn bucket with invitation inside is approximately 6” wide x 8 1/2” tall.

This listing also includes a coordinating “thank you” card. The card is cut to resemble an admission ticket with the word “thanks” cut from the cardstock front and has printed with lines inside for writing ease. Card is 5 3/4″ wide x 3 1/4″ tall. “Thank you” card also comes with envelope.
